DLR and its SESAR2020 partners Frequentis AG, Selex ES GmbH & the Hungarian ANSP HungaroControl are pleased to invite you to another OPEN DAY at DLR Braunschweig, Germany on 23/11/2018 to visit a SESAR2020 PJ.05-02 V3 validation exercise for Multiple Remote Tower for three airports simultaneously. It is V3 extension of the V2 March 2018 exercise, where some of you already attended the joint Open Day event.
The exercise PJ-05 EXE-05.02-V3-2.4 will be conducted in the remote tower laboratory at DLR Braunschweig from 12/11/2018 until 22/11/2018: In a real-time human-in-the-loop simulation a single ATCO controls three Airports with simultaneous VFR and IFR traffic in a realistic traffic scenario.
The Open Day starts with some introductory class room sessions incl. some intermediate feedback from the ATCOs. Afterwards you can watch an example test run in the Remote Tower laboratory with HungaroControl ATCOs.
