At the European Aeronautics Days (Aerodays) PJ05 Remote Tower for Multiple Airports was represented by Anneke Hamann from DLR Braunschweig. In her presentation, she addressed the assessment of human performance in multiple remote tower operations as a part of the SESAR parallel session Innovations In Airport Operations. A broad international audience consisting of scientists, operational experts and industry representatives could acquaint themselves with the concept of multiple remote tower operations and scope of PJ05 as well as selected results from two validation exercises conducted by DLR in cooperation with HungaroControl, Oro Navigacija and Frequentis.
