The “Deutsche Gesellschaft für Ortung und Navigation” (DGON) organised a workshop to discuss current industry standardisation activities with respect to remote tower implementations. The workshop was hosted by Austro Control and took place at Vienna on 21 Sep 2017 with representatives from the remote Tower research, service and Provider industry. Part of the agenda was also a presentation of our SESAR 2020 “PJ05 Remote Tower for Multiple Airports” Project, the currently greatest remote tower reseach initiatives.
